Dick accompanies Mary on an archeological dig, but is disappointed when all he finds is a 'pointy rock.' To Mary's astonishment it turns out to be an ancient spearhead. Mary's jealous because she has never found anything. She had to buy all the artifacts in her office. She would kill to have found the ceremonial wedding moon that Dr. Powell, the leader of the dig, uncovered earlier. Dick reassures her that she'll find something and the next day plants an object in Mary's area. He convinces her to keep digging and she immediately unearths a wedding moon identical to Dr. Powell's. Mary is ecstatic until it is revealed that the moon is, in fact, Dr. Powell's and she is accused of being a thief. Mary is furious with Dick until he convinces her he was just trying to make her feel better. Meanwhile, the Rutherford Garlic Festival is underway, and hotel rooms are at a premium.
