The aliens are trying to process the fact that their mission has been cancelled. Harry suggests that since they leave on Saturday night, they should throw a party. Dick agrees, saying that they don't have to mention that they're leaving or that they're aliens. Tommy and Harry make party preparations, maxing out the Solomon's credit cards. Meanwhile, Dick breaks the news to Mary that he's leaving on Saturday. He wants her to go with him, but she isn't sure she can do it. Eventually she says yes. Meanwhile Sally, concerned that Don has left the police force and opened a muffin shop, decides that before she leaves she is going to rebuild Don from the ground up. A montage shows Sally turning Don into the man she always knew he could be. By the end, Don's ready to become a cop again. The party is a huge hit, with people dressed in alien costumes and a performance of 'Fly Me to the Moon' by Elvis Costello. At the end of the evening Sally says her goodbyes to Don, who is unaware she is leavin
