A Slight Case of Murder

Fearing he'll become a suspect in the accidental demise of his lover, morally challenged movie critic Terry Thorpe (William H. Macy) weaves a web of duplicity in this comic neo-noir tale. Before you can say blackmail, shifty private eye John Edgerson (James Cromwell) puts the squeeze on Thorpe while investigating cop Fred Stapelli (Adam Arkin) lets his showbiz aspirations cloud his judgment.
