If potato chips sound good, try them while wearing the chewing jockey. The chewing jockey puts more snap in your snack and crunch in your lunch. It's a headset connected to a computer programme, designed to amplify, augment and even change the sounds of chewing. Its creators at Tokyo's Keio University say they wanted to improve the eating experience using sound effects to 'augment food texture and create what they call 'a cross-modal illusion.' Like making candy worms scream out for help.
