A nine-year-old girl hiked across treacherous terrain to get help for her dying father after a crash in the Antelope Valley.
Alejandro Renteria was on his way home with his daughter around 1 a.m. Sunday when their car veered off Sierra Highway in Acton.
The vehicle tumbled 200 feet down into a ravine and rolled over several times before coming to a rest.
Renteria s daughter managed to crawl out of the window of the wrecked Ford Escape. She smelled gasoline and turned off the engine.
