'Saving Mr. Banks' may be marketed as the story of Walt Disney and his battles with 'Mary Poppins' author P.L. Travers but in the movie, a second story is told about the writer as a child and her feverish adoration of her father, whose health is failing because of his alcoholism. Colin Farrell plays the role of the father, and has admitted in the past to having problems with alcohol and now no longer drinks. So how was it for him to undertake such a character?
