Borussia Dortmund were drawn against Real Madrid in the semi-finals of the Champions League in Nyon on Friday (April 12). The 2011-2012 Bundesliga champions will be at home in the first leg on April 24. The second leg will be played one week later. Dortmund had the upper hand in their group stage meetings with Real Madrid, drawing 2-2 at the Bernabeu and winning 1-0 at home. Borussia Dortmund chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke said they were very satisfied with the draw.
