Kobe Bryant reached an out of court settlement in a suit alleging he assaulted a Grizzlies fan during a 2005 game. While running after a loose ball, Bryant collided with Bill Geeslin, an insurance agent who was sitting court-side. After it happened, Geeslin claimed that Bryant bruised his lung during the play and that he did it on purpose so he decided to sue him for $75,000. After Geeslin died in 2008, his estate continued to pursue the case. Kobe agreed to settle the case out of court.
