The NBA has announced Metta World Peace has been suspended for 7 games after his attack against Oklahoma City Thunder Guard James Harden. The penalty occurred after World Peace scored a fast break dunk in the second quarter of the Lakers 114 to 106 double overtime win. He elbowed his opponent so hard it knocked him to the floor and forced him out of Sundays game. The Lakers Star insists the hit was unintentional, however he is a repeat offender, which most likely contributed to extensive ban.
