The Yankees shortstop led the majors with 216 hits and ran his career total to 3,304 leading many to wonder if Jeter can break Rose's all-time record of 4,256. In an interview with Sports on Earth, Rose said, 'I don't think he will break the record. First of all, I don't think he wants to leave the Yankees. And the Yankees, they're about winning. Jeter had a great year this year, but he's what? Thirty-eight years old?'
