Spanish opera tenor Placido Domingo is in hospital in Madrid after suffering a pulmonary embolism. That's according to his U.S. publicist. The singer was taken into hospital on Monday after getting a blood clot in his lung. The 72-year-old tenor, who also serves as the general director of the Los Angeles Opera, is expected to make a full recovery. But he has been forced to cancel five performances this month in the opera 'Il Postino' at the Madrid Royal Theatre.
