Synopsis >

Two days after the death of Vaclav Havel, Czechs continue to pay tribute in Prague to the playwright-turned-president whose 'Velvet Revolution' toppled Communist rule. Havel died at his country home on Sunday at the age of 75, and since then thousands have streamed through Prague castle and the medieval city centre to light candles and write condolences. On Tuesday the Czech parliament marked his death with a minute's silence.
