Thousands of fans celebrated in Stockholm on Monday (May 20) after Sweden ice hockey team swept aside Switzerland 5-1 in the final to become the first team since 1986 to win the world championship on home ice on Sunday (May 19). Fans - young and old - packed out Kungstradgarden to see their heroes. 'I'm here with my pre-school class. We love hockey so we thought it was a fabulous idea to go here to see the players,' she said.
