Tens of thousands of people attended the L.A. Pride parade and festival in West Hollywood on Sunday, including Los Angeles mayor-elect Eric Garcetti.
Numerous roads in the West Hollywood area were closed for the event, which was billed as one of the largest gay pride celebrations in the country.
The parade began at 11 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Santa Monica and Crescent Heights boulevards and traveled westbound, ending at the intersection of Santa Monica and San Vicente boulevards.
