In trading on Wednesday, non-precious metals & non-metallic mining shares were relative laggards, down on the day by about 1.2%. Helping drag down the group were shares of Steel Dynamics (STLD), off about 4.2% and shares of Northern Dynasty Minerals Limited (NAK) down about 2.9% on the day.
