A routine see the woman call leads Officers Malloy (Martin Milner) and Reed (Kent McCord) to a hippie hangout where a 16 year-old runaway girl is seriously ill from the effects of narcotics, in Log-6, this week's episode of ADAM-12. After talking to Mrs. Ross (Dorothy Neumann) about the strange people living next door, the officers find Carol (Cynthia Hull) hiding in the back yard. In other action, the officers participate in a stakeout at a parking lot where a dope peddler is to meet his customer. The cast includes Philip Capin as Ray, hippie friend of Carol's, William Stevens as Officer Walters, Claude Johnson as Officer Brinkman, and Jimmy Mathers and Michael-James Wixted as the two little boys, who report a prowler.
