Our generation may feel strange or awkward when they're in a situation where they have to create small talk. We're so focused on social media and technology that when we're thrown into this predicament, we go straight for our pocket or bluetooth. We try to avoid having to say hello or starting a conversation, whereas when we didn't have cellphones, small talk was inevitable, one could not simply ignore a passerby. We have become alienated from real human contact. This video was created to show the difference in two separate decades and the thought process that goes through my head in this situation.
