Bad Day At Black Rock

Oscar-winner Spencer Tracy received his fifth Oscar nomination for his portrayal of a one-armed stranger who arrives at a small Southwestern town shortly after WWII in pursuit of a Japanese farmer. When he discovers that the farmer was killed by local racists, he becomes a target of murder. Nominated for Best Screenplay and directed by the great John Sturges (The Great Escape, The Magnificent Seven, Gunfight at the O.K. Corral).
