Sure, we;ve all fallen in love with The Office;s breakout character, Creed Bratton, the sticky-fingered, sprout-munching 82-year-old hobo who manages to stay just below the Scranton radar. He;s one of the few characters (if not the only one) whose real life persona is perfectly blended with his character;s, making it difficult to draw the line on fiction and reality. Creed the character was a guitarist in The Grass Roots, a band that remained on the Billboard charts for 307 straight weeks in the 60s and 70s. Well, thanks to reader Danielle B., video proof that Creed was in the band (and, in fact, a young man) exists! So check out this clip of The Grass Roots live (introduced by Jimmy Durante), and see if you can spot the toner-headed miscreant in the band.
