I haven;t thought of R.E.M. in a few years (not that they;re bad, just been awhile since we heard from them), so you can imagine my surprise this week when, in the course of a few days, he dropped not one but TWO huge bombshells on us, right before their new album comes out. Bombshell #1 is obvs the fact that, despite what he;s led us to believe all these years, Michael Stipe is actually a gay.
