We;ve seen it too many times. A green young actor breaks through and steals our hearts with a memorable offbeat performance in a smash hit comedy, and then, in cruel cosmic irony, is unable to shake the typecasting of the character that made them famous. I;m looking at you, Vote For Pedro guy. Mini-Me from Austin Powers. Judge Reinhold. Another young man currently staring this fate in the face is young Christopher Mintz-Plasse, the adorably geeky guy who played McLovin in last year;s Superbad.
