The legendary Bigfoot has been sighted in Northern California and is blamed for the disappearance of campers. A Chicago entrepreneur puts a one million dollar reward which creates a media frenzy with hunters and scientists racing to capture Bigfoot. When Bigfoot saves a lost boy in the forest, he discovers the only friend who can try to set him free in a sanctuary that has been designated by the government for endagered species. The boy has to do this before the hunters, government, doctors and a museum owner get Bigfoot.
