We all know that casting can make or break a film or any project. Actors go on so many auditions and they often feel like they know what will be a hit or a miss.
When George Lucas initially pitched Star Wars, he was turned down by every studio except for Fox, and even then, the head of Fox didn't understand the concept, but simply wanted him to make a film with his studio.
If all of these studio executives got it wrong, could you imagine what the actors were thinking when they were auditioning to play characters like C-3PO, Chewbacca, Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, and Darth Vader?
Black Wars lets us take a peek into that audition if George Lucas would have been Black and a movie like this had not previously existed.
