Ricky, Matt and Sam team up for a multi-day mission to clear a route through Afghanistan they have nicknamed X. Although the road is only a mile long, it's littered with IEDs and manmade mines, and the army has already suffered two failed attempts at clearing the route in the past. Meanwhile, Chief and Chase discover a deadly Taliban trap adjacent to the Afghan National Police checkpoint.
