Part 1 of 2. After a Defense Directorate agent kills a member of a group of interstellar assassins, the group plots to take their revenge on the city of New Chicago. Buck (Gil Gerard) masquerades as an assassin and joins the group, but his attempt to thwart their plan is stopped when the leader of the group, Kellogg (guest star Frank Gorshin), discovers that Buck is an impostor.
