Bulldog Drummond

Weary of sitting on his hands, dashing war hero Capt. Hugh Bulldog Drummond comes to the aid of fetching Phyllis Benton (Joan Bennett), whose father is imprisoned in a sinister sanatorium by mad Dr. Lakington (Lawrence Grant) and his accomplices. In the first installment in the popular Drummond series, old chum Algy (Claud Allister) joins the affable gent for an adventurous lark, but the pair misjudges Lakington's deadly intentions.
