After her plane went down last December and killed Jenni Rivera and six others in the northern Mexican state of Nuevo Leon, 50 workers are now widening the road to the plane crash site so that tourists can see for themselves where Rivera lost her life. Nuevo Leon’s municipal secretary tells Mexican news source Efe, what we want is that people who would like to come here will be able to do so either walking or on an all-terrain vehicle. Today, at the site where Jenni’s remains were found, stands a makeshift altar dedicated to the songstress that is frequently visited by her fans. The Rivera family has no connection to the said tourist attraction.
