Maurice Pogue (Dana Carvey) is a small-time private eye with a big-time problem: every morning he wakes up with no memory of anything, including who he is. As if having a rare case of amnesia isn't bad enough, he's also the key witness in a gangster's murder trial, but he can't remember anything about the crime or why these bad guys are always chasing him.
