As World War I gathers steam, two German-American friends are torn between loyalty to their country and loyalty to each other in this drama directed by David Howard. When Fred von Bergen (James Bush) loses his job due to anti-German sentiment, he and his pal Bob Wilson (Ben Lyon) return to their native Germany. They join the German air force together and fight over the same girl -- but end up fighting each other when America enters the war.
