Crosswinds

This rousing adventure is set in New Guinea, where schooner skipper Steve Singleton (John Payne) embarks on a treacherous quest to retrieve sunken gold bullion and reclaim his vessel after getting duped by schemers Nick Brandon (Robert Lowery) and Jumbo Johnson (Forrest Tucker). Along the way, Singleton crosses paths with double-crossers, unfriendly natives, ferocious jungle cats and luscious war widow Katherine Shelley (Rhonda Fleming).
