Patrick McGoohan, as Danger Man John Drake, goes to the Caribbean in A Date With Doris - but not to keep a date with a girl named Doris. The Doris of the title is a code reference to a submarine which is standing by to take off a British agent Drake has been sent to rescue after he had been framed for murder and is badly injured. To compensate for Doris being a submarine, this Danger Man episode provides strong feminine appeal in the attractive shape of Jane Merrow, portraying a gun- slinging revolutionary girl who has to be trusted if the injured man is to be helped. Ronald Itadd is the Revoluticraary rimy chief, with James Maxwell as the framed agent and Eric Pohlmann as Drake' s contact.
