A research scientist accidentally produces a deadly virus which could be used for germ warfare. Danger Man John Drake has to seek him out when he disappears.Colin Ashby (LYNDON BROOK), a scientist with a British virus research unit, in appalled when, in trying to isolate a virus, he causes a dangerous mutation which, heis quick to realise, could be used in bacteriological warfare. This is why he destroys his notes and refuses to give any information when asked to provide details to a military scientific unit represented by a man named Fenton (DEREK FRANCIS). Despite being placed under restriction and having his passport taken away from him, he disappears. The security aspect brings John Drake (PATRICK mcGOORAN) into the matter, and he succeeds in tracing the missing man to France.
