Stephanie and Nick are at the Brady pub. Max enters and tells them he just got his sentence of community service for hiding Ford's body. He can't focus on that right now. He misses his pop so much. They all talk about the pressures of life. Nick can hardly concentrate on his grant proposal because of everything that's going on in Chelsea's life. Morgan arrives and pulls Nick aside to convince him that blowing his grant is not going to help Chelsea. Later, Morgan catches Max ripping a page out of Nick's notebook. Chloe asks Philip for another big favor. She's run out of money and needs a place to stay. Can she stay at the Kiriakis mansion? Philip tells her his father hates her. Chloe knows but she has no choice. Philip agrees and Chloe reveals her boatload of luggage. Later, Philip hears Chloe speaking German on the phone. He returns with a small tape recorder and secretly records the last half of her conversation. Philip meets with a German interpreter who translates the phone conversation. Philip's reeling after he learns Chloe threatened Brady before he disappeared. She actually threatened to kill him and was begging her Austrian agent to cover for her. Steve's waiting on Kayla hand and foot. Abe arrives and he and Steve talk privately. Abe ran Ava's name through the police computer. She has a rap sheet a mile long. Steve asks for a copy. Abe wants to know what's up. Steve tells him how he hooked up with Ava years ago when he had no memory of being Steve Johnson. He was called Patch back then. Apparently Ava's here and wants Patch back. She's irrational and dangerous. Her family's into all types of illegal stuff. Steve confides she tampered with the plane but he has no proof, except her word. Abe asks what he can do. Steve tells him to keep an eye on his wife.
