Sami picks a fight with EJ when she's unable to tell him she's pregnant with his child. Later, when Sami goes home she sees EJ with Stefano and bolts. Unable to find anyone to talk to about her situation she calls Lucas who takes her to the Horton cabin. Lucas offers to let Sami stay with him the night while she thinks about what she's going to say to EJ. Sami accepts Lucas's offer. Lucas and Philip are shocked to learn Kate may have lung cancer. Both men leave so Kate can have her biopsy. Before Kate is completely under sedation she tells Daniel she's glad he's there. Nicole tells John about EJ's early departure. John wonders if Nicole should still tell EJ she's pregnant. Nicole says she will. Later, John and Nicole are dinning at Chez Rouge when John has another episode.
