EJ learns Sami didn't come home. Worried, he confronts Stefano who claims he had nothing to do with her disappearance. EJ has to go to a work meeting and Stefano volunteers to watch Johnny. EJ is wary, but gives in. Meanwhile, Sami wakes up in Lucas's bed. It's platonic and he encourages her to tell EJ the truth about the baby and soon because she's starting to show. Stefano takes his grandson for a sight seeing tour of the cemetery where he runs into Sami. Stefano privately notes Sami's belly and says he hopes she and EJ honor him with more grandchildren very soon. Sami takes off in a panic and returns to the Horton cabin where she vows to keep her baby away from the DiMeras while Lucas runs into EJ. Lucas, thinking Sami told him about the baby, congratulates an uninformed EJ. Kayla urges Marlena to help John instead of simply divorcing him.
