Outside the Horton cabin, Melanie hopes Philip and Stephanie will reunite. Inside, Philip does his best to try to work things out with Stephanie. Unfortunately for Philip, Stephanie is not going back. She tells Philip this is hard for her as well, but she can't be with him. Meanwhile, Brady shows up, having left his watch from the day before, and guesses Melanie's machinations didn't pan out very well. Melanie still has hope, but when they realize Philip and Stephanie are a no go, Brady tries to talk Philip down and Melanie approaches Stephanie. Stephanie gently chides Melanie while Brady warns Philip to be cool and not go after the lady in his life the way he went after Chloe and Belle. Later, Brady goes to check on Stephanie at the hospital and while she covers the best she can, she later breaks down, and Nathan is there to offer comfort.
