Jennifer is devastated when Chloe answers the door to Daniel’s hotel room, and she sees Daniel passed out, half-naked in bed. Believing they had sex, Jennifer runs off in tears. She later confesses to Maggie that her relationship with Daniel is completely over. Even though Jennifer does not provide any details about what happened, Maggie encourages her niece to talk to Daniel. Jennifer heads back to the hotel room, where she almost finds the bottle of Nancy’s sleeping pills that Chloe used to drug Daniel. Meanwhile, Daniel is roused out of his stupor, and he meets with Chloe to clarify that while he feels badly for having been brutally honest with her earlier, he still believes her kissing him was completely inappropriate. If she pulls a stunt like that again, he will cut off all contact with her. A dejected Chloe starts to leave the town square when she hears Daniel run into Jennifer. Daniel reaches out to Jennifer but is met with a resounding slap to the face – much to Chloe’s delight. Kristen tries to break the ice between Stefano and Brady but it’s a slow thaw. EJ arrives and Stefano asks his son to move back into the mansion. However, EJ isn’t quite ready to do that, especially since he doesn’t want to rock the boat with Sami. Meanwhile, Kristen and Brady make love. Later, Kristen slips downstairs while Brady sleeps and confesses to Stefano that she flirted with John as part of her plan for revenge. She’s about to tell Stefano more about her endgame as Brady comes down the stairs… will he hear the truth? Rafe catches Lucas and Sami in the Salem PD evidence room. He assumes they are looking to dig up dirt on Nick, not realizing they are there to destroy any evidence linking Will to EJ’s shooting. Rafe lets them off with a warning, and later Sami and Lucas regroup, bemoaning the fact that Nick can still blackmail Will into giving up his parental rights. After Lucas leaves, Sami starts to suggest to EJ that they tell Rafe what Nick is doing but EJ strongly points out they cannot trust Rafe to protect Will.
