Welcome back to Dutch Harbor, Alaska. The largest fishing port in the United States is buzzing with life as 81 fishing vessels return to start the 2006 Red King Crab season. Fishing high-liners like the Northwestern, Cornelia Marie, and Time Bandit, return to stake their claim in the million dollar jackpot. Former captain and boat owner Rick Quashnik cedes control of the Maverick to twenty-six year old Blake Painter. Blake will be challenged by captains Sig Hansen and Phil Harris to be his own man-time will tell if the green captain makes his own path, or plays follow the leader.
