Meet Don "Don Dog" Carlyle. Age 29. Associate Manager, Advanced Eating Concepts, LLC, Benjamin Frankfurter Division. If the food court at The Shoppes At The Mall At The Arboretum had a mayor, Don would be right up there in the running. Don has his sights set on one thing: promotion to HQ, Columbus. Upper management would mean respect, it would mean ladies, and it would mean finally moving out of the house. But Don knows only a certain kind of guy gets the nod to bring his game to Columbus -- a guy with the right kind of attitude, the right kind of habits, and frankly a guy who's at or below a 36 waistline. So there's work to do. Don can admit that. For now, he knows he's on the right track. Each day is a new opportunity to take a step in the direction of The Big Show. Think Charlie Brown, only all grown up. And still living with his ranting mother and altzheimer's-victim father. Written and produced by the former writer/producers of "Cheers," follows Don, his mall-worker pals and demented family through the ups and downs -- though mostly downs -- of life on the leading edge of 21st century sprawl.
