A twofold assignment is handed Sgt. Friday (Jack Webb) and Officer Gannon (Harry Morgan) to catch the thieves and recover $100,000 worth of furs stolen from an exclusive department store in The Fur Job. With coaching from Emile Hartman (Henry Cordon), store representative, Gannon becomes an expert in chinchilla and mink, a factor which aids the detectives in cracking the case. The cast includes Joanne Medley as a young debutante fur shopper and Jody Gilbert as her mother. Merry Anders portrays Policewoman Dorothy Miller.
