Scrappy inventor Gunther (Thomas Gottschalk) drives his tiny East German Trabant 601 to a Los Angeles convention, where he hopes to get backing for his revolutionary turnip-juice fuel. But the car is soon stolen by corporate spies. Now Gunther must navigate the unfamiliar terrain of L.A. in his quest to get his Trabi back.
