Drums in the Deep South

Clay Clayburn (James Craig) and Will Denning (Guy Madison) become best friends while rooming together at West Point, but the two men join opposite sides when the Civil War breaks out. Rebel Major Clayburn is disrupting Union supply shipments, and Denning must stop him. Planning to blow up an entire mountainside and every rebel on it, Denning has no idea that his best friend is his main target.
