Lewis treats a father and daughter who were injured after opening a letter bomb. Weaver seethes when Romano gives some of her numerous duties to Lewis. Carter meets a dying 12-year-old leukemia patient, Mickey (COLTON JAMES), brought in by Carter's charitable mother, Eleanor (recurring guest star MARY McDONNELL). The doctors marvel at a 13-year-old girl, Stacy (JEANETTE BROX), who crashed her mother's car while trying to drive the inebriated woman home.
