Help us Save Some Lives: Join the George Harrison Fund for UNICEF and ACUI Campus Challenge

UNICEF Ambassador Alyssa Milano tells the story of how George Harrison produced the historic Concert for Bangladesh, a revolutionary fundraising effort benefiting UNICEF. In 1971, Harrison staged two concerts at New York's Madison Square Garden that brought together a star-studded cast of musicians Ravi Shankar, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, Leon Russell and Billy Preston to alert the world to the plight of the Bangladeshi people. Now, UNICEF has partnered with the Association of College Unions International (ACUI) and the George Harrison Fund for UNICEF in a nationwide fundraising challenge. The goal is to raise $150,000 for UNICEF programs by February 28, 2009. The funds raised through the Challenge will be matched dollar for dollar by the George Harrison Fund for UNICEF.
