Although conflicted by his feelings for Amy, Ephram finds himself serving as confidante and friend to Amy's formerly comatose boyfriend, Colin, who continues to struggle to reclaim his life. Meanwhile, Dr. Brown hopes to convince Ephram to resume the piano lessons he abandoned after his mother's death. Nina (recurring guest star STEPHANIE NIZNIK), Dr. Brown's friend, is excited by a visit from her absentee husband, Carl Feeney (DYLAN WALSH - The Lone Ranger 2003 telefilm), but old tensions return as well. And in a bittersweet moment, Amy and Colin are nominated for homecoming king and queen.
