Father's Doing Fine

Noel Langley's drawing-room comedy is brought to the big screen with Heather Thatcher as Lady Buckering, a financially embarrassed, upper-class widow who is exasperated by her four adult daughters and their various romantic difficulties. While Doreen (Diane Hart) and her husband, Dougall (Richard Attenborough), await the birth of their first child, Dr. Drew (George Thorpe) urges Lady Buckering to marry him and a pilfering servant is apprehended.
