The Royal Danish Ballet performs Igor Stravinsky's Firebird in this adaptation filmed in 1982. A Victorian family keeps the Firebird locked away in an enchanted garden. But with the help of her lover, the Firebird liberates herself from the family's strict traditions and bonds, and with each pas de deux, she becomes more and more human. Glen Tetly choreographed this production, and Poul Jorgensen conducts the Royal Danish Orchestra.
