Four Faces West

Ross McEwen (Joel McCrea) robs the Santa Maria bank to help his father save the family ranch -- and, being the upstanding guy he is, leaves an I.O.U. for the stolen loot. U.S. Marshall Pat Garrett soon takes up chase, but Ross manages to elude him … until a final showdown on the range where Ross has stopped to help nurse a family of Mexicans dying of diphtheria. Hey, let the guy off the hook!
