A mother’s suicide torments The Reed Homestead in Townsend, MA. Beginning in 1809, four generations of the Reed family have managed the Homestead. As the tale goes, unable to recover from the grief due to the sudden loss of her 10-year old child, Hannah Reed hung herself. Operated now by The Townsend Historical Society, the staff claims to have seen a figure that they believe could be Hannah. Filling the location with cameras that use infrared and ultraviolet technology to capture possible paranormal activity, the results of the TAPS team investigation cause lead investigator Jason Hawes to state proudly, one of the best pieces of evidence we’ve caught in a long, long time.
