Synopsis >

TAPS comes to Hollywood for a pair of unforgettable investigations. The first stop for the team is the site of one of the most horrifying crimes in American history. In 1969, five people were brutally murdered by members of the Charles Manson cult, including actress Sharon Tate and her unborn child. A homeowner who now lives 200 feet from the site of those crimes is convinced the victims haunt his Hollywood Hills home. Loud footsteps, strange shadows, and full-bodied apparitions are a common occurrence in the house. TAPS sets out to uncover the source these bizarre incidents and if they can be tied to the most infamous crimes in Hollywood history. The next investigation is at the Charlie Chaplin Studios, which have a long history of setting the stage for a slew of film and television productions. The complex, which currently serves as the home to the Jim Henson Studios, also has an extensive history of unexplained paranormal activity. The apparition of a short man with a handle-bar mustache is commonly seen walking through the stages. Employees believe this apparition is responsible for the inexplicable lighting issues on the main soundstage. Furthermore, mysterious voices are routinely heard coming from the high catwalks that cover the sprawling area. Over the course of their investigation, TAPS explores what legends of Tinseltown may be lurking in the shadows of the studios.
